Danielle Price - Artist Biography Born in Rancho Cucamonga in 1979, Danielle was raised in a Christian home, being baptised at the age of eleven.  She started singing at the age of six.   She attended the annual California State Talent Competition in Santa Clara as a soloist during the years of 1990-1993 where she went on to receive numerous awards including First Place in the religious song category in 1992 and Grand Champion in the same category in 1993. Attending Alta Loma High School, she was a member of the Chamber Singers Choir and the Show Choir during her Junior and Senior years.  She represented Alta Loma High School in the annual Solofest competition during her Sophomore year, and received First Place - being the first ever to place for the school in the annual competition. Danielle had been singing in church for several years, doing special music every now and then, but then she felt a big calling on her life from the Lord.  She began playing the guitar in 1995 and started writing her own songs shortly after.  She felt the Lord leading her in the direction to have a music ministry and she released her first album en_title_d “In the Name of the Father” in June 1996 which contained two original songs and seven traditional hymns.  In November 1999, she will release her second album en_title_d “Trust In HiX-Mozilla-Status: 0009inal contemporary songs. As a soloist, Danielle has appeared throughout southern California and Washington state in different church ministries, events, Christian coffee houses and concerts.  She has shared platforms with such ministers as Raul Reis, Gayle Erwin, Harold J. Sala, Larry Taylor, Chuck Missler, Roger Oakland and David Moore.  She has had the opportunity to open for Two or More, Steve Archer and Bryan Duncan.  A soloist at the 1996 National Day of Prayer at the Pomona Fairgrounds, she has also made several appearances at Harvest Christian Fellowship for the Sheild of Faith and Peace Officers For Christ ministries, as well as Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and West Valley Church of the Nazarene in Yakima, Washington. Mission Statement This ministry is about loving, sharing, caring and giving to our brothers and sisters in Christ that we have now - and those still to come!  The goal of this ministry is to allow people to worship and praise the Lord, and to lead people to Christ. I take my Christian views very seriously and try to live up to what God expects of me.  I fail just like everyone else - He died for all of us, so we might live.  My views have been called “old fashioned” and boring due to the stands I take on certain issues.  I simply state that my views are more biblical.  Have I lost friends and people in my life because of the choices I make and the stands I take for the Lord?  Sure.  But - have I gained new friends who support me in the choices I make and the stands I take for the Lord - ABSOLUTELY!   It’s not easy being twenty years old in this day and age.  Actually, I would have to believe it’s not easy being any age.  It’s hard to find a place where you “fit in,” feel like you belong and where you won’t be persecuted for your beliefs, which is exactly why we must remember we aren’t of this world - our place is with Him.   I try to be a bearer of light in this world as I minister and share with others.  Some people I have run into in my life not only persecute me for my Christian views and morals, but they also persecute me for not being perfect.  No, it is not easy being a Christian openly in today’s society, but the Lord knows this and gives us the strength we need to keep going. Songs that I write I consider to be sent from the Lord.  I believe the Lord has blessed me with messages He wants this world to hear.  Some lyrics might seem strong and outrageous, but I’m not one to mince any words - I tell it like it is.  The messages supplied in the songs of this ministry should serve as reminders that our time on earth is short and the only way to have salvation is through Jesus Christ.  The goal of this ministry is to win souls for Christ.
