good movies WOW's of the week for Nov 23rd
Starting off.. .What are WOW's? They should be websites or articles or programs that you have discovered and find interesting and would like to share. So, my 3 wow's for this week: PLN's - Personal Learning Networks. I have found this to be so valuable. I have a group of people that are similar to me in my interests that I follow on Twitter and on several other .Ning sites. I gather ideas from watching discussions as well as have the ability to put out questions to people who follow me. Spell Check in browsers - I found that IE does not spell check for you, but since I have started using Google Chrome - my spelling has been taken care of for me Mrs. Roberts will like that as well as my digital footprint for all those who check me out. Wired article http://www.wired.com/vanish/2009/11/ff_vanish2/ - The writer tried to vanish and made it a contest to see if someone could locate him. Kind of talks about how our lives are connected digitally and how we are tracked. Anyone READ 1984 and Big Brother the government?? Oh.. and one more - TweetDeck. I LOVE this program for following all my twits and others along with hashtags and searches. I wouldn't love Twitter so much without it.

Twitter launching paid business accounts     Businesses are under no obligation to sign up to a paid account, but doing so will provide them with a special _layer_ of access , including feedback and statistics, said Stone. Many big name brands and companies have embraced Twitter as a way of communicating directly with consumers and engaging with customers. Personal accounts remain free. (I think this is a nice network for many people to be able to use) Movie Father     Movie father is a web site that i checked out because Ashton had told our class about it. It is a really pretty cool web site and has good movies on it. You can find many types of movies on it, even the new releases. =D
