Interpreter Scholarships available (Dari,Dinka, Hazaragi and Tamil)
The Victorian Multicultural Commission isoffering scholarships to study emerging languages to students enrolledin the RMIT Diploma of Interpreting. In 2010, scholarships of $2,000 arebeing offered to speakers of the following languages: Dari, Dinka, Hazaragiand Tamil. This amount will cover the cost of course fees for a Government-fundedplace in the Diploma of Interpreting. NAATI paraprofessional accreditationcosts will also be covered for students who complete the course with agrade of 70% or higher.
