I think it's called The Outsiders ....the movie about the tobacco industry.  Did anyone see/like it and was it worth watching??...Just curious...I'm thinking about renting it if it isn't one of those sleeper movies... Sally WW+

Sally, it's called The Insider.  Yes, I saw it.  I would see anything with Al Pacino in it; he plays a 60 Minutes producer.  And Russell Crowe (currently The Gladiator) plays Jeffrey Weigand, the Brown & Williamson insider who tells all to 60 Minutes. To me, it was a fascinating story, even though I know that there was probably some distortion in order to make a movie that would hang together and be even a bit suspenseful.   Christopher Plummer play Mike Wallace.  Superbly. You won't be wasting your rental fee.  Unless, of course, you don't want to see a movie that's mainly about the lies and deceits of Big Tobacco. Joyce DOF
