and then rented the LD and taped it, I would much rather watch that tape than the original VCD. Now the DVD's out....it never ends. Bottom line is that VHS looks better than VCD. VCD's give me a headache. As long as we're on the subject...are those annoying pixel-square looking thingies in the dark parts of the screen unavoidable with VCD, or is it just cause I'm using a Playstation to watch 'em? Would a higher end VCD p_layer_ help? Damaged torn on that whole VHS vs VCD thing, cause he tends to wear out tapes...
